Agfa Rondinax 35 U Daylight Developing Tank - PARTS or REPAIR

Stored since the 1950s.
In photo number 6, the small broken piece is visible.  There was a previous repair. which failed, using a solvent based adhesive.  I have removed the remains of the adhesive, and it appears that super glue or epoxy should be effective.  The small spindle that goes through the broken part is held in place with a spring lock wire, so the spindle is easily removed and replaced.
The thermometer seems to be "maxed out."
There appears to be an extra spring, it's not shown in any of the diagrams in the users manual, and there is no place in the device that appears to need a spring.
There seems to be a "spacer" washer missing from the main shaft of the film spool.  The rubber seal is there, but the user manual also shows a spacer, which I cannot find.  I suspect the spacer is to keep the rubber seal from binding when the spool is rotated.
The paper pieces are largely in tatters, but the user manual is still in good shape.
