Antique Union Hardware Ice Skates, clamp on, No. 924 1/2, size 11, used
These antique Union Hardware Ice Skates are clamp ons, No. 924 1/2, size 11, with bindings, but the bindings are about shot.  They are corroded and dirty, but otherwise appear to be in working condition with all rivets and clamping mechanisms good.  Clean them up, get new bindings, and you could be skating this winter!  Collectible, too.  30  2.6

Hardware Company began in 1864 in what had been an old lock shop in the area known as Torrington Hollow. By autumn of 1865, the company relocated down the Naugatuck River into its own set of new buildings. Throughout this time, the company was engaged in the manufacture of ice skates of all sizes and styles. In the following years, Union Hardware expanded its product line to include many different items made of iron, leather, and wood.
