This set comes with a 5/8" bore drive wheel, if you require a 3/4" or 7/8" or 19mm bore drive wheel leave a note on the checkout page saying which one you need & we'll send that with the set.
BEWARE OF WHEEL SETS WHICH ARE DISHED: SUCH WHEELS CANNOT BE REVERSED FROM TIME TO TIME TO PREVENT UNEVEN WEAR, ESPECIALLY ON THE TRACKING & DRIVE WHEELS. THEY ALSO USE SHORTER, LESS STABLE AXLES. THE SAME GOES FOR THE JUNK CURRENTLY COMING IN FROM
EASTERN EUROPE, THEY STACK CHEAP BEARINGS, USE RIDICULOUS SPACERS... BE CAREFUL.

Two,
2" diameter precision turned aluminum idler wheels with sealed bearings, 2-1/4" WIDE (CHEAP WHEELS ARE 2" WIDE).
One,
3" diameter precision turned aluminum tracking wheel with sealed bearings. The tracking wheel is 2-1/4" wide, 3" in diameter & CROWNED (no sharp v) to ensure accurate belt tracking. BE WEARY OF CHEAP HAND TURNED TRACKING WHEELS, THEY HAVE A SHARP V INSTEAD OF A CROWN. THIS V IS DUE TO MANUAL MACHINING RESTRICTIONS, THEY CAN'T MACHINE A CROWN ON A HAND LATHE. THE V IS HARD ON BELTS, UNTIL IT WEARS AWAY PREMATURELY, RENDERING THE WHEEL USELESS. THE HAND TURNED WHEELS ARE ALSO ONLY 2" WIDE. (4" tracking wheels offer no advantage, they're heavy & soak up energy unnecessarily).
One,
4" diameter precision turned aluminum drive wheel. The drive wheel is 4" in diameter & crowned to ensure accurate belt tracking. The face of the drive wheel is 2-1/4".  The set screw (included) is 1/4-20 & 1/2" long.
Please note
that the bore of this drive wheel is
5/8"
, see note above if you need a drive wheel with 3/4" or 7/8" bore. The wheel is broached all the way through, cheap drive wheels are not broached all the way through (notice a step cut in bore or deep dished away side) which means the wheel cannot be reversed from time to time to ensure even wear.
For DIY style grinders like GIB, EERF, NO WELD etc. Also work well on any professionally manufactured 2x72" belt grinder. The wheels are 2-1/4" face width to comfortably accept any commercial 2" wide grinding belt.
Bore of the bearings is 1/2" so you can use any 1/2" diameter bolt as an axle. The bearings are easily replaceable when worn.
We use these wheels on the top quality grinders & flat plattens that we manufacture & our design has been thoroughly tested to withstand even the harshest knifemaking environments!

We do not ship this set in a padded envelope, it's too heavy & may become damaged, we only ship the set properly bubble wrapped & shipped in a box, hence the slightly higher shipping fees.
