A BERNINA 770 QE is something very special for the American quilt artist Tula Pink: In addition to my love for fabrics, I have developed a great passion for BERNINA. I love the BERNINA 770 QE because it offers space for large quilts and the stitch regulator supports free-motion quilting. " Tula Pink plays with patterns like a poet with words. She transforms traditional patterns into modern designs. Her love for textiles started early and soon she was designing her own fabrics. This great passion was followed by enthusiasm for quilting, because she wanted to process the mountains of fabric that had grown over the years into beautiful results. Today, 16 years later, she is a well-respected designer and quilter. Tula Pink designed a quilt exclusively for BERNINA using the fabrics from her “Moon Shine” collection.
New user interface
With the models in the BERNINA 7 series, we placed great emphasis on user-friendliness and intuitive operation. The sewing advisor answers questions directly on the screen, and the tutorial shows important work steps in brief animated instructions.
Extended free arm for big ideas
The BERNINA 7 series has a sturdy, extended free arm that offers a 254 mm work surface to the right of the needle. The BERNINA 770 QE not only provides plenty of space for large, beautiful sewing and quilting projects, but with its 9 mm stitch width is also ideally suited for the use of decorative stitches. Extensive, large designs can be embroidered on the extra-large embroidery module, which is optional on the BERNINA 770 QE. And should your demands grow, it can be upgraded with a variety of accessories.
Semi-automatic threader
The BERNINA 770 QE does a lot of work all by itself. The presser foot lowers automatically at the beginning of a seam. The thread is threaded semi-automatically and automatically cut when you have reached the end of a seam or want to change the color while embroidering. The standard package also includes a practical extension table that significantly increases your work surface.
The BERNINA gripper
The heart of the BERNINA 7 Series has a new, centrally located drive that allows the BERNINA gripper to run particularly quietly and evenly. Two oscillating cams ensure unhindered thread passage and extremely smooth running at a speed of up to 1000 stitches per minute and a stitch width of up to 9 mm on the BERNINA 770 QE. The bobbin of the BERNINA hook holds up to 70% more thread than standard bobbins. This means that a full bobbin can be sewn for longer without interruption.
BERNINA Dual Transport
With the innovative BERNINA Dual Transport, the fabric is transported from above and below at the same time. This means that even smooth and fine materials are moved forward evenly and carefully. It's easy to turn on when you need it and quick to turn off again if you can do without it.
Adaptive BERNINA thread tension
This innovation from BERNINA ensures optimum thread tension during sewing and helps you achieve perfect stitch quality on both sides of the fabric. After you have manually adjusted the thread tension to your thread and fabric, the Adaptive BERNINA Thread Tension Control permanently checks the thread tension and, if necessary, adjusts it automatically without you noticing. The results are the best sewing results and you don't even need to press a button.
BERNINA stitch regulator (BSR) included
The BERNINA 770 QE is equipped with the BSR function. The BSR foot assists you in free-motion sewing and quilting with straight or zigzag stitches. With variable sewing speed, it always ensures stitches of exactly the same length. Beginners quickly gain trust with the BSR, and it gives experienced quilters additional security. The BSR foot is included in the standard accessory package of the BERNINA 770 QE.
Total stitch control
All models in the BERNINA 7 series offer absolute stitch control at an exclusive level. Stitch lengths, stitch widths and the needle position can be changed individually. The personal settings can be saved and retrieved at any time. And stitches and stitch patterns can even be imported and exported via the USB port.
BERNINA patchwork foot 97D included
With the BERNINA 770 QE you get the patchwork foot 97D with a movable guide rail. When patchworking, it offers additional security during the joining of patchwork pieces. When used with the straight stitch plate, you will achieve a perfect stitch result.

warranty
can only be extended within 3 months from the date of purchase and is valid in Germany and Austria. The extended warranty is a voluntary service by BERNINA Sewing Machines GmbH.
BERNINA Sewing Machines GmbH provides a contractual guarantee of 2 years for the machines sold against any errors or failures from the date of the invoice to the end user, subject to the following restrictions. The guarantee does not cover wear and tear, damage or defects caused by use that is not in accordance with the instructions and maintenance instructions, in particular due to inexperience of the user or malicious acts. The guarantee expires if the customer makes changes to the product or if original accessories are replaced by non-original spare parts. The guarantee does not apply to the repair of damage caused by external influences (e.g. impact, accident, power fluctuations).
