10 FASNAP SOCKETS - Normal Action Socket is a top quality nickel-plated brass socket that is used for cloth-to-cloth and cloth-to-surface applications. A button rivets to the socket. This is a normal action socket, meaning it will separate from the stud with use of normal force. For applications needing a stronger hold, I recommend using a hard action socket.
The installed socket and button can then be snapped to a stud. For cloth-to-surface installations, use a stud with an integrated screw and for cloth-to-cloth applications use a stud in conjunction with an eyelet.
10 FASNAP Standard Studs - The standard stud is a top quality nickel-plated brass stud that is used for cloth-to-cloth applications. The stud rivets to an eyelet (sold separately). An installed button and socket can be snapped to the installed stud and eyelet.
10 FASNAP Eyelets / Posts - The Eyelet is made of top quality nickel-plated brass and is used in cloth-to-cloth applications. The eyelet rivets to the stud .An installed button and socket can then be snapped to the installed stud and eyelet. Barrel Length: 1/4 inch (which is suitable for materials up to 3/16″ thick).
