Description

This Ritchie B-81 Offshore Boat Compass has been very lightly used, remaining in excellent condition.  There are 12 photos showing its details and condition.
Compass shows only the lightest signs of typical use.  Card is divided into degrees and cardinal points, with LARGE easy to read numbers.  Card can be read fron the side and from the top, as well.  Prominent lubberlines.  Moveable sunshade.  Sapphire bearing for accuracy, and smoothly internally gimbaled.  Marked 'Ritchie...Pembroke, Mass. ..Mod B-81.'  12 Volt LED illumination for night running.
Can be mounted on any horizontal or vertical surface- Excellent for use as a bulkhead compass beside the companionway.  Measures 5 1/8" at the widest point across the knurled mount thumbscrews.  Compass will stand 5" tall, standing in it's mount on horizontal surfaces and will project about 4 3/4" from the bulkhead in vertical applications.
