. Made in USA by Gundlach-Manhattan Optical Co. Rochester, NY. Circa 1920. This rare vintage 11x14 contact frame is stamped
"Gundlach-Manhattan Opt. Co. Rochester, NY"
. It is also marked "Burke and James Chicago"  with a small stamp in each of the four corners on the back of the frame. This contact frame must have been originally sold by Burke and James. Nice vintage collectible piece of early photo history. High quality heavy duty solid hardwood photo contact printing frame. Great for alternative process photo printing. Cyanotypes, Platinum printing ect. This vintage contact frame is in

cosmetic condition. Hardwood frame is in good condition. Good working order. No dings or dents. Nice original felt backing. Clean glass with no scratches. Some slight patina and minor marks around that would be expected from a contact printing frame of this age. Outside dimensions of this frame are 13 1/2 x 16 1/2 1x 1 1/4 inches. Front glass opening measures approx. 10 1/2 x 13 1/2". Weight is approx. 5 lbs. Overall this frame is in very nice condition for its age.
