Vintage new Canadian Black Hockey Ice Skates10 1/2 Men's Think winter decor (m)

Description

These skates are from the Marshall-Wells company and were found in the basement of a now-closed general store in Washington state.  They were most likely purchased in the 1950's and have never been worn, which is why I list them as new.  However, time has taken a toll on some of the leather - mainly the tongues (severely cracked) and inner leather (minor cracking).  The leather on the outside is in as-new condition.  The nails on the bottom of the skates are rusted, and there is some very slight scuffing on the blades due to handling.  I tried to show in the photos that the bottom of the blades are clean and untouched.
The box is the original, but it is torn and frayed.  The stickers however, are intact.  One sticker is for Ladies skates and the other for Men's "Silver Streak" Hockey Outfit Satin Nickel Finish, which is what these skates actually are.  I can send more photos if you are seriously interested, but I think those listed here tell are completely descriptive.
